Tile Builder is a Windows Phone 8 application that enables you to design your own tiles. Each tile can be assigned a custom action. You can create quick access tiles with your favorite pictures to a website, pin a quick phone call. You can create notes and quick shortcuts right on your start page. Here is a list of the most important features:
- Three different types of tiles with small, medium and large templates: - Flip Tile: periodically flips between a front and a background image
- Icon Tile: A nice Metro-style icon with text on the back (choose out of 200+ icons)
- Cyclic tile: Cycle through up to 9 images (9 is a Windows Phone limitation)
- More than 25 prebuilt tiles complete with icons and actions, ready to be pinned
- More than 200 icons to choose from
- Pin quick notes to your start page
- Apply your own images to a tile
- Attach one of the following actions to your tile: - Open settings (wifi, bluetooth, airplane mode, cellular)
- Send an e-mail
- Place a phone call
- Open store
- Share a status update
- Share a picture
- Take a picture
- Take a picture and share it immediately

- Open a web page
- Search (Google or Bing)
- Create a quick note
- Save an e-mail address
